Rest In Paradise, Michelle Murigi.
Last night, we lost a beloved friend and fellow student of West Campus High School, Michelle Murigi. She was hit by a car while crossing the street, in the crosswalk, without having the driver pay any attention. A friend of hers saw the whole thing and tried to give CPR, but no air was going through her lungs, but there was a pulse; there was a sign of hope. She was taken away in the ambulance and put in critical condition at the UC Davis hospital. Her spine was severed and no oxygen was going to her brain, leaving her to be put on life support. There was huge hope that she was going the survive, but I guess God had other plans for her. She lost her life last night.
Her battle was the strongest I’ve ever seen. She kept trying to push through, but instead, she has rested with the Heavens and has become more than a human being—she is an angel.
No words can describe the loss of this amazing, beautiful, kind human being. Even though she may not be physically here anymore, she is a spirit that will forever be in the atmosphere. In her remembrance and to keep her within everyone, her family has decided to donate her organs.
So if we can all take this moment of silence in the loss and remembrance of Michelle; it is most needed. One things to always remember is to always smile, even though this loss is huge, she would want us all to enjoy the rest of our lives and to know that she will be right by oursides through rain and shine. To her family, friends, and the Class of 2013 my thoughts and prayers go out to you guys as well.
The sun shines for you, babygirl. We love you so much, Rest in paradise, Michelle.
Once a warrior, forever a warrior
